THE SECRET TO STAYING LEAN AS A LIFESTYLE!


Wanna know the true secret to getting fit, and staying lean as a lifestyle? EASY!!

It’s the type and amount of food you consume and maybe even the exact macros…


NOPE.


It’s taking ALL the latest trending vitamins because that’s what someone else is taking and getting as much protein as possible…


Mmmmm- not really. 


The gym! It’s gotta be how much you work out and most of all how completely trashed you are after a gym sesh! 


That’s not even close either. 


I’ve got it! It’s for sure knowing how to put all of these together and knowing ALL the facts and latest research about how many grams of carbs you need to be eating per pound of bodyweight, knowing exactly how glucose works and monitoring your blood sugar levels, and for sure knowing the most effective or exact rep ranges and load and progression needed for hypertrophy or strength gain, with factoring in recovery and heat and cold contrast practices, as well as whether you’re a man vs. a woman, hormones, hydration, genetic testing, and of course knowing the makeup of your gut microbiome, basal metabolic rate, practices to improve heart rate variable….and PROTEIN!  


Fine! I won’t keep it a secret any longer. The #1 way to stay lean as a lifestyle- the most important factor 🥁🥁🥁…


BEHAVIOR. PERIOD.


  • You can have all of these other things:

  • The perfect nutrition plan or macros.

  • The perfect supplement regimen.

  • The perfect workout plan.

  • All the biomarkers.


You can recite all the science & quote all facts & studies…


But if you can’t change your behavior and adhere to these as a lifestyle, they’re only going to get you so far.. Or even nowhere sometimes.


Do you keep falling off only to feel as though you need to start over? Do you ever find yourself saying, “I know what I need to do- I just need to do it!”


Your problem is not that you don’t have all the external tools- It’s that you lack the internal execution. THE BEHAVIOR TO EXECUTE.


Stop stopping & starting, or trying something for just a little while only to think you need to try something new or change directions everytime you feel that it’s not working. Stop focusing on all the external things that you think matter, and start focusing on what’s really important:

The internal skills that bridge the gap between everything that you know, and what you know to do AND ACTUALLY DOING IT!


That’s it. That’s the missing piece. BEHAVIOR. 


Creating habit loops, environment design, self regulation, friction tolerance & response…And most likely stepping outside of your comfort zone, taking risks and doing things outside of your current behavior patterns.
