HEALING

When you decide to quote, get in shape, a lot of different things will happen, obviously, but here's the road that not very many talk about.
You will start to heal. Whether you're just starting this journey or you've been on it a while, I think this is something that you will notice and you may not realize what’s going on. But as is true with most processes in life, unfortunately and fortunately, it will get worse before it feels better.
In orienting your life towards health, you will uncover all the things that you were once trying to escape- when one habit is stopped, probably a negative habit, it will show up somewhere else, and so on and so forth- like peeling the onion.
Personal transformation is uncovering everything you've masked. It reveals everything you've been covering up. In making the decision to get healthy and taking the steps and building the habits to do so, you will discover all the ways you have been numbing yourself from the things you needed to face or the feelings you needed to feel, some that you may not even be aware of.
Personally, in my life, I tend beat myself up and think, why can't I get everything in balance all at once? It seems some part of life kind of gets nailed down only to have another part of my life sort of uprooted and out of balance.
But I realized what's actually happening is transition, and with transition comes transformation, and that can be good transformation.
Just because one area of my is in balance and one area in my life is out of balance, that doesn't mean that's a bad thing. It means that, like I said before, it's peeling back that onion. I am growing, and getting stronger in one area only to find there's another area that can use a little work. I'm uncovering that area.
So again, this is kind of a road that not very many talk about. You may find yourself in this scenario and not really realize what's going on. But I encourage you to look at it through the lens of, as I said, transition. And with transition comes transformation. And that can be positive transformation.
You will have all of these outside hacks and routines and different things that are definitely positive, but in the end all roads in personal transformation lead back to one place.
You.
It's inside you. You know what you need, you know what to do. Your body is guiding you. And so are those around you who care about you and love you. So keep it up! When things feel worse before they feel better-HAVE GRATITUDE.
Transformation is happening.
