LIFE LATELY

Things I’ve Been Thinking About Lately:

A small win is still a win. It matters. Progress matters. It doesn't have to be loud or dramatic to count.

It’s ok to change your mind. If you change your mind, it doesn’t mean what you thought before was wrong. It served you for that season, or maybe it didn’t- either way things shifted and you recalibrated, you learned, and you grew. Changing your mind doesn’t make you untrustworthy, or dishonest, and it’s not weakness. It’s movement.

Pay attention. Be present in each moment. Really be there- not wishing you were somewhere else, or someone else, or in some other timeline. This IS the moment. You’re in it.

Do more of what makes you happy. Often times we work and work to buy ourselves freedom to one day do the things we love. But often times we get there and don’t see it; don’t appreciate it and just keep grinding, forgetting why we're grinding in the first place. Why wait? Do the things you love. Do them now.

See beauty every day. Even if you can't. Make yourself find it.

Sometimes, maintaining is winning. Stability is a form of success in some seasons. Holding steady counts.

Consistency. PERIOD... It's the quiet key. It's the thread that not only turns goals into reality, but keeps you moving when life won't to stop to wait for you. It's the discipline of showing up and the balance between remaining humble while giving yourself deserved recognition when you do.

Life is the small things. Stop holding your happiness hostage waiting for the “big” things. "If I just had that..." or "When I get this..." The great things are the little ones- present all along.

Life isn’t really about getting the “thing” that you want. It’s about getting the feeling that that thing makes your feel. What feeling are you chasing? Maybe you can create that feeling...right now. -Coach Tish
